Cor Solis
Cor Solis started in late 2004 e.v. as an internet-based musical collaboration between Gregor and Milan Putnik. They made some songs together and worked on the project for about a year, but due to professional obligations Milan couldn't devote his time to the project. Cor Solis was put on ice until Ana joined, with some of her lyrics, her powerful voice and amazing energy she put in live performance. Shortly after, we started composing more, played a MuzikFantastique Autumn Equinox gig 2005 in the middle of a forest accompanied by Dražen of Zagrob on accordion. This went extremely well, giving us the motivation to move forward plus giving our listeners a first peek of Cor Solis live.
Not long after, we recruited our long time friend Nina, a women of great courage, spirit and heart among our ranks. Many months passed and some more songs got written. We played a gig in Ivanić Grad together with Zagrob and Smrt & Čekić, and received some more attention from radio promoters and magazines, both Croatian and foreign. We've done a radio interview for the Urban Music radio show, and then withdrawn from publicity a bit to create in silence. In May 2006 Nora joined, an academic viola player of amazing talent.
