ESSENCE OF NIGHTI used to play electric guitar and I was thinkig about starting a gothic metal band....Anyway,I failed to find all members,so I tried with some software which could provide other sounds(bass,drums,keyboards) and at first,I composed gothic metal songs....Then I tried to experiment with different sounds and slowly,I oriented only on composing electronic music....... I still play guitar,but that is far less serious than my industrial projects. I have one finished demo album(Impossible Changes)and one CD with different remixes of Ghost of Past. Since I found out that I really like industrial and other electronic geners,I made my work more and more serious with time and soon,I realised that I'm not really gifted for composing lead melodies and I often found something important missing in my songs. So,I understood that the second band member is necessary and the best choice was my girlfriend,Angelica. From that point,Essence of Night has became far more serious project and we are working at our first album at the moment.Now,we are making our songs to be more complex and to have something new and original,but still sound industrial and dark at the same time,showing the way we are feeling and the way we are looking at the world around us. Another important thing is our logo.Eight points are taken from symbol of chaos and they show how we look at the world around us,the circle and the line inside it,together with inner circle represent dreamcatcher which separates us from the world and the sign inside is stylised symbol for four stages of consciousness: Awake, sleeping, dreaming, and a trance or transcendental state.

instruments. In that time,I have already listened to some industrial/synthpop or electro bands,so I tried,just for me,without any serious plans,to experiment with different sounds.Slowly,Essence of Night has become electronic project without any conections with metal(which is only seen in history).

Mixture of Industrial/EBM and Darkwave with Ambiental and Trance elements.Also,with some Darksynth influences.Our expression of reality-the way we look on the world-fears,regrets,disappointments,facing the reality,facing ourselves,loneliness,coruption......
