Through the times in different formations of darkwave and electronica bands from P.P.V. through The Antals and FORMAT:A-3 out came the Secret Man, with more powerful and gloomy sound than ever... Formed in 2007 in Novi Sad, Serbia Having long-term experiences with other formations the sound of Secret Man was formed throughout the years obtaining more and more introspective, personal colours, which can be sometimes painfully sincere... The screams from inside to the world outside could be regarded as the last calls for reconsideration of who we are, where's our place in this reality and could we find and learn how to maintain love, which is the only true power that is able to bind us to life... The music is massive. Dark soundscapes create a real gloomy atmosphere; not an alienated but a warm, seducing one... In the meantime ther's always aheavy rhythm behind that won't let your mind rest - nor your body... It allows us to concentrate on the lyrics, too... if we got through the jungle of sounds and melodies, we can reach out for the lyrics... Born out of real moments of insiration, where you cannot really tell why do you have to put the exact words in that exact order but in the end it all comes to a significant meaning... Most of the songs is dealing with love - no surprise in that - but in a way that is worth to listen to... "And now, in the days to come I just don't want to see you, anymore; Don't need to think about your kiss, your smell and your smile..."

VA Dark Scene Vol.1
Dark Scene je forum nastao na tragu sada već nepostojećeg foruma Debris Files koji je okupljao, jasno je, mračnije bendove uglavnom okrenute industrialu i electru. Nedavno je na ovom forumu pokrenuta inicijativa da se uradi kompilacija gde bi se predstavili učesnici foruma prvenstveno. Odziv je bio jako dobar da je odmah jasno bilo da će prvo izdanje slediti drugo pa i treće i to jako brzo. U međuvremenu se tematika foruma malo proširila pa se sada tu nalaze i noise teme isl. Ova kompilacija predstavlja uglavnom sastave iz Srbije i čini mi se dva iz Hrvatske. I kao što rekoh na kompilaciji preovladava mračniji electro i moderniji mračni industrial mada ima i onih koji imaju eksperimentalniji, bučniji i staroškolski pristup industrijskom zvuku. Kompilacija po svom zvuk bi najviše mogla da podseti na pre koju godinu izdatu „Vulgarni Optimizam“. Ono što je dobro je da kompilacija predstavlja sastave sa raznih strana i koji ne dolaze uglavnom iz Beograda tako da se može videti da se ovakav zvuk neguje i u ostalim gradovima. Kompilaciju je već izdalo nekoliko net etiketa a probaće se i sa SKCom Novi Sad. Vol.2 je u pripremi i biće sličan jedinici a Vol.3 – „Iz naftalina“ će predstaviti neke jako bitne ali zaboravljene domaće bendove. Potražite link na darksceneforum.co.nr ili na našem blogu. Nenad

Na "DS:Vol.1" kompilaciji i riječki FOF

Ovih dana je objavljena DIY underground kompilacija nazvana "DS:Vol.1" koja je zamišljena kao osvrt na radove "mračnih" glazbenih umjetnika s prostora Balkana, a sve u cilju promoviranja ove specifične i u posljednje vrijeme "trendi" scene. Izdanje se našlo u obliku net-izdanja za američku izdavačku kuću "DeadKnife Records", a na njemu se našao i samozatajni riječki bend FOF. Dečki su najpoznatiji kao "duhovni nasljednici" grupa Transmisia i Very Expensive Porno Movie čiji je odličan album prvijenac prošle godine objavljen za Slušaj Najglasnije etiketu. Opisno, ova vrsta glazbe je u biti industrial, darkwave, gothic, post punk, noise bez metala i HC zvukova.
