Plasma-Arc Machining was formed in 2004 in the town of Nis, Serbia and has not stopped accelerating since. In these infernal times of violence and devastation the band tries to rediscover the essence of human nature. Their music cuts people's conscience like a high velocity beam blown through an electrical arc. The plasma-forming process coincides with mind-provoking sensations resulting in a complete submission of body and soul. This makes a productive atmosphere for implementing ideas and liberating people so that they could act subversively against the diseased society and create a new exciting world which would be a dancefloor where they could boogie all night long.
The band's first self-released material titled "Suspension of Disbelief" appeared in 2005 and it was promoted through numerous performances all over the country, including EXIT 05 and 07, Nisomnia, Zalet… The fall of 2007 marked the beginning of the cooperation with Zdenko Franjic and the release of the band’s self-entitled debut for his Zagreb-based label "Listen Loudest!". Currently, they are working long hours, so be prepared for a close encounter.

Prvi zvanični nosač zvuka ovog sastava iz Niša donosi pregršt alter-rock/electro uzbuđenja. Sastav je osnovan 2003. u Nišu, a svoj prvi d.i.y. materijal objavljuju 2005. pod nazivom «Suspension Of Disbelief». Članovi sastava su Dušan Stamenković (sampler, synth, beat disaster), Stefan Milojković (bubnjevi), Miike (bas), Miroslav Užarević (gitara, prateći vokal), Miloš Tasić (vokal, gitara, klavijature) i prave strasni konglomerat indie-rocka uz debeli utjecaj svega i svačega. Na svom web-site-u naveli su kao uzore At The Drive-In, Queens Of The Stone Ages, Radiohead, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, Bjork, R.E.M., Sonic Youth, Pixies, David Bowiea, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, P.J.Harvey... što se doslovce i osjeti u njihovom zvuku. Tekstovi su na engleskom jeziku, te su otprilike zvučno vrlo bliski sa celjskim sastavom Hard.Com. Plasma-Arc Machining kombiniraju podjednako i elektroniku (ritam mašine i synth) i klasične gitare (distorzije i akustika u naslovu «The reflection») čime dobivaju vještu smjesu suvremenog electro-body industrial tonaliteta s blagim psycho-eksperimental karakteristikama. Produkcija je odlična (svaka čast dotičnom Mladen Marjanoviću), te treba izdvojiti vrlo dobre naslove – sjajan uvodni electro-industrial instrumental «DJDJ3», najbržu «Dance the devil dead», «Johnny goes to war» (vrlo blisko ranim Tuxedomoon), fantastičnu obradu Nick Cavea «The mercy seat», vrlo finu ambijentalnu «Coming home» s laganim post-rock uvodom i teškim, tromim ritmovima, te posljednji gotovo techno-industrial komad «The plasma screen of Altamira» sa elektronskim 'robotic' vokalom. Pjevač je također na zavidnoj glasovnoj razini, te čitava atmosfera albuma po ničemu ne zaostaje od recentnih vrlo sličnih predstavnika elektronskog rocka kakvog su primjerice u devedesetim isporučivali Primal Scream, a danas ga rade primjerice The Young Gods.
