exYU Alternative Noise Rock (vol.1)

Yup, here is another compilation I've done to present you great bands from this part of the world. Ex-Yugoslavia is a term for the region were Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Montenegro countries exist today. It was all one big communist country until the war in 1991. This compilation is yet another effort to show the rest of the world how many great bands we have here. This is the 3rd installment and final genre compilation. Alternative rock combined with noise rock. Most of these bands come from Serbia, because I'm more involved with the scene there. That doesn't mean that I won't make another compilation in the future, showing the rest of great exYugoslavian countries music. Like before, some recordings were a little crappy so I re-mastered and cleaned them up. I hope you will find this compilation interesting, I find these bands more than great. :) Enjoy!

A lot of foreign people ask us where they could find industrial rock bands from ExYu region. So we decided to upload one promotional sampler compilation for them so that they can later find & order/ purchase the CD's of these great artists. So this is a compilation dedicated to industrial rock bands from ExYu region in Balkans (former Yugoslavia region). It contains 19 different artists all the way from 80's to 2000's.

D:S:Mrak iz Naftalina is a compilation of ExYu industrial/gothic/darkwave bands. ExYu is a region in Balkans (Europe) where former Yugoslavia was. This compilation is completely net-based and is intented for private use between the members of D:S forum and is for promotional purposes only. We wanted to pay our respect for the old artists and the founders of this sort of scene in ExYu region. These are the bands that survived the light and left some trail behind. This is the volume one of this compilation and volume two will soon follow.

Following bands gave us their permition to be included in this compilation: Slovenska Nekropola, Overdose, Minimal Disease, Borghesia, Katarza, Nezaboravan San O, Signum,
VIVIsect, Dobri Isak, Autopsia, Pure, Trivalija, Retro Mind, Transmisia, Aporea and Seven Sisters. The following bands were included as a bonus material of this compilation. Some of them are r.i.p. bands and we couldn't get in touch with them and some gave their permission but only if it's a lowercase file
compression. So we decided to recompress the whole compilation to mp3 44/128. Here are the bonus bands: Luna, Dorian Gray, Laibach, Mizar, Oliver Mandic, Sat Stoicizmo

VA Dark Scene Vol.1
Dark Scene je forum nastao na tragu sada već nepostojećeg foruma Debris Files koji je okupljao, jasno je, mračnije bendove uglavnom okrenute industrialu i electru. Nedavno je na ovom forumu pokrenuta inicijativa da se uradi kompilacija gde bi se predstavili učesnici foruma prvenstveno. Odziv je bio jako dobar da je odmah jasno bilo da će prvo izdanje slediti drugo pa i treće i to jako brzo. U međuvremenu se tematika foruma malo proširila pa se sada tu nalaze i noise teme isl. Ova kompilacija predstavlja uglavnom sastave iz Srbije i čini mi se dva iz Hrvatske. I kao što rekoh na kompilaciji preovladava mračniji electro i moderniji mračni industrial mada ima i onih koji imaju eksperimentalniji, bučniji i staroškolski pristup industrijskom zvuku. Kompilacija po svom zvuk bi najviše mogla da podseti na pre koju godinu izdatu „Vulgarni Optimizam“. Ono što je dobro je da kompilacija predstavlja sastave sa raznih strana i koji ne dolaze uglavnom iz Beograda tako da se može videti da se ovakav zvuk neguje i u ostalim gradovima. Kompilaciju je već izdalo nekoliko net etiketa a probaće se i sa SKCom Novi Sad. Na "DS:Vol.1" kompilaciji i riječki FOF

Ovih dana je objavljena DIY underground kompilacija nazvana "DS:Vol.1" koja je zamišljena kao osvrt na radove "mračnih" glazbenih umjetnika s prostora Balkana, a sve u cilju promoviranja ove specifične i u posljednje vrijeme "trendi" scene. Izdanje se našlo u obliku net-izdanja za američku izdavačku kuću "DeadKnife Records", a na njemu se našao i samozatajni riječki bend FOF. Dečki su najpoznatiji kao "duhovni nasljednici" grupa Transmisia i Very Expensive Porno Movie čiji je odličan album prvijenac prošle godine objavljen za Slušaj Najglasnije etiketu. Opisno, ova vrsta glazbe je u biti industrial, darkwave, gothic, post punk, noise bez metala i HC zvukova.
