This compilation was a project of 3 years work, it meant to be a vinyl & CD release. This is a must have compilation for all the lovers of ex-Yugoslavian dark rock and industrial music.

First side or CD1/Vinyl1 is called 'Loud Machines'. It gives a good representation of industrial rock and dark alter rock bands from ex.Yugoslavia. Period - 1990 - 2015. It has 20 bands, from all over Yugoslavian region. The other side CD2/Vinyl2 is called "Within darkness" and goes even further - period 1980 - 2015. Note that 5 big bands (important for this release) didn't wanted to participate and some of them abandoned the idea.The release date for this was 21. October 2014. unfortunately, record label which was about to release this withdraw and changed it's mind. So, Crime:Scene record label decided to release it for a free download, because a lot of the bands wanted it to be available for the public somehow. Here it is finally, enjoy it and support these great artists.

We decided to make a release dedicated to Crime:Scene records and our goal to bring you this beautiful music from Balkan region. So we made 2CD compilation of most important C:S acts. First CD is for more experimental music lovers. We brought you the most interesting dark bands that are on our label, some tracks are completely new, some are remastered and digitally cleaned-up. So, the first CD is for, older people. :) The second CD contains dance electronic acts and bands that have youthful energy. Carefuly picked and also digitally cleaned up. Katarza was one of the first Serbian bands which played alternative rock with a little mixture of industrial rock. They've existed from 1992 to 1997. Their first album self-titled "Katarza" (1994) was the big brakethrough for Serbian rock scene. It was recorded in studio "Do Re Mi" and later released for Start Today Records. Following shortly was their second album "Burning European Home" (1996) , which was much more electronic and Senser-style influenced. Now, we've got a chance to digitally remaster original recordings and release it just for you over our label. So, we proudly present both Katarza albums in one edition called "Millenium". KATARZA

From the very beginning, in 1992. , Katarza was, and to this day probably still is, a unique band on serbian rock scene. They were the first to introduce alternative, hardcore and punk heretige with the industrial rock and heavy electronics in a truly creative and inspiring way. Their first full-lenght, a debute album of the year by countless praising reviews, was an avalanche of high spirited anthems, that long outlasted the bands activities. Lead by singer George, whose charismatic and powerfull vocals could make your balls frozen, band undertook short series of gigs to remember.
Second album, more experimental and even more trance-genre oriented was much loved for its outrages and uncompromising ideas and became a huge influence on more inteligent part of the serbian music scene. Both albums were completely sold out at the time, and in the upcoming terrible years for serbian rock and, indeed, whole nation, became something of a rarity, treasured by a minority that never accepted dictatorship of mediocrety.
