RZRWR

RZRWR

RZRWR (or RaZoRWiRe) is a project dating from middle nineties, which resulted in more than three dozen tracks made on pc and in various sound studios. In 1997 and 1998 RZRWR produced a full-length CD titled “OCCUPATION” and sub-titled “At the Speed of Free Fall”, which contained 12 carefully produced and performed tracks. The album was out on an independent record label from GB, there was one video made for one of the tracks, there were a couple of gigs, and that was about that, because the occupation of Serbia by the Evil Forces of the West had occurred in 1999, and there was some bombing, and the band couldn’t get visas, that were necessary in order to propagate the band’s music and ideology in the West. In the mean-time, the Enemy was restless and had come up with a surrogate that was suppose to fill in the place of the referent of designator “razorwire” – hence the British punk band that operates under the same name from 2000 onwards. But, as chancellor Mao had instructed us, we are marching through one defeat after the other, and we are getting closer and closer to our final victory!
