Seven Sisters

SEVEN SISTERS

Seven Sisters was a gothic cover band from Novi Sad that worked in the mid 90's. The band starts in 1991. During the civil war in Yugoslavia, band named “Seven Sisters”, covered the songs from previous period of r’n’r music: The Cure, Love and Rocket, Bauhaus, Nick Cave, David Bowie, Sisters of mercy and more. Those gigs, at the club called “Piping”, were for young people with Seven Sisters an escape to a better place we’ve called “VIRTUAL UK”. That’s how we started. Wearing vamp clothes, speaking foreign language on the streets, having male make-up, it all was a kind of apel by youngsters in those dark years of one Europian state. Soon after they changed their name to The Gift.
