Slađana Milošević

SLAĐANA MILOŠEVIĆ

Alexandra Sladjana
Milosevic Hagadone was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. Her talent for music became very apparent at the early age, so she started education in classical music at the age of five, playing piano. Few years later, her interest turned to studying violin. At the age of twelve she became a singer and a bass-guitarist in a rock and roll school band, though she had not given up violin playing. She recorded a first single at the age of fifteen, playing violin and singing Indian influenced music with a group “Ganesha”.

From then on, her interests had shifted towards various artistic expressions such as acting, playing music and dancing in the fringe theatres and experimental movies. She acted in Belgrade’s “Ex Art” Theatre, “Atelje 212” Theatre and in “Academic Kino Club Krsmanovic”. As a violinist, a member of "Belgrade Radio - Television Orchestra", her career continued doing studio work. Nevertheless, playing in a big orchestra appeared to be an obstacle for a further creative development, so she decided to proceed as a soloist. Being in constant discordance with restrictive regime and the media, despite all the efforts, she could not release a solo record in her homeland Yugoslavia for many years. Thus, she invests her funds and finally manages to produce and release the first single in 1977. Unexpectedly, it had achieved an immediate success hitting #1 on the charts. Milošević's provocative first song “Au, Au” caused controversial reactions. However, her creative potential, persistence and consistence of ideas had won over. She stimulated and influenced younger musicians and other less courageous, to follow her path. During her career, she performed title songs for several movies: Crazy Years, National Class and for few documentary movies. Frequently she had been a guest vocalist and a guitarist on other musician’s albums such as: Dado Topić, Leb i Sol, Goran Milošević (Slađana's brother, singer of Generacija 5), Nityananda, YU grupa and others. She took part in numerous humanitarian projects. She was the originator and the executive producer of the Charity Festival “United Yu-Rock Forces”, organized for the benefit of paraplegics in Belgrade in 1988. Belgrade Paraplegic Organization nominated her an “Honorable Member” for the support she had given to the cause. In 1990, she continued working on her album with American recording and production team in Los Angeles that included major American celebrities, such as Guns'n'Roses`s songwriter West Arkeen, Lary Wilkens, Jeff Buckley, Derek Davies, John Buxter with whom she did music for a Canadian CD-ROM production company.[1] In the meanwhile she worked on improving her guitar skills, studying with Hollywood’s MIT reputable instructors: Scott Henderson, Bruce Bouillet, Scott Van Zen, James Hagadone and others. During that time she appeared on American TV shows and live scene. On January 13, 2000, Serbian (Julian) New Year celebration day, Milošević delivered the award to the “Most Resisting Media Reporter”, political prisoner at the time. The celebration - protest was organized by “Otpor” (Yugoslav Youth Resistance) at the main Belgrade’s town square. During the protests against the authoritarian political regime of, at the time Yugoslav President Slobodan Milošević, Slađana Milošević took an active role

Mario Marzidovšek

Mario Marzidovšek

Mario Marzidovšek was a unique musician, artist, producer and organiser from the north-east Slovenia. In the eighties he was engaged in numerous alternative activities, including mail art and establishing of a first private - then illegal - and non-commercial label in the former Yugoslavia. From 1984 till 1988 he released more than 50 cassettes with various kinds of music, predominately electronic and alternative rock music. He established a mail network and communicated with numerous artists and producers from all around the world.

Although his work was partly influenced by the activities of the Neue Slowenische Kunst and other alternative groups and producers in Slovenia, his work was original and unique. His musical activities in producing electronic music were influenced by German Kraut Rock and various modern experimental composers. However, he supported activities of punk and hardcore groups in the region by his label and organised several important concerts in Maribor. In 1985, he released two compilation cassettes presenting alternative punk and hardcore groups from the region.

His electronic performances were noisy and radical. Although his cassettes were of bad reproductive quality, due to the poor technical possibilities, he was sending them to different addresses in the former Yugoslavia, Eastern and Western Europe, United States and elsewhere. He released many recordings of his music and collaborations with different musicians from Europe and the United States. He combined received tapes with his music or sent his tapes to his collaborates who released their ho
me-made cassettes. One of his major successes was releasing of a cassette compilation entitled Third Generation Serious Music with compositions, collected by the concourse.

Living in a small town of Slovenska Bistrica was not a handicap for Mario Marzidovšek. On the contrary. His personal experience (he worked in a chemical factory) was the essential "input" of his creativeness and radicalism. His work was to prove that local and global productions nowadays may not be in contradiction. If anyone wants it, s/he can communicate without limits. The local productions are not necessarily derivations or echoes of the fashionable trends from the centres.

Grč

Grč

This was a

A sve skupa upotpunjeno Zoffovim moćnim recitiranjem.

Ustvari, nije ostao dosljedan zacrtanim kurentima, nego još radikalniji...

DORIAN GRAY – Sjaj u tami (1984, Jugoton)

Zagrebačka rock grupa Dorian Gray je bila sljedbenik ideja David Bowiea s albuma «Scary Monsters And Super Creeps», «Lodger» i «Heroes» uvevši na tadašnju scenu primjese dark i gothic rock struja. U prvoj postavi bili su Vedran Čupić (gitara), Branko Terzić (bubnjevi), Toni Ostojić (klavijature) i Jadran Zdunić (bas i fretless) vođeni idejom Massima Savića (vokal i gitara).

Mizantrop

MIZANTROP

I have very little information about this project. I know that it worked in Novi Sad (Serbia) during the year 2002. It was a one-man project of famous radio host from the show "Golum" on Radio Novi Sad. I only got this self-titled CD "Mizantrop". CD contains 17 completely musicly different tracks. I would categorize it as a mixture of the following genres: dark synth, dark pop, techno, neo folk and ambiental.

More information coming soon.

Phantasus Morphea

PHANTASUS MORPHEA

Phantasus Morphea is industrial/experimental project from Ljubljana (Slovenia). Here is the text that explains it all:

The Greek god of dreams. He lies on a ebony bed in a dim-lit cave, surrounded by poppy. He appears to humans in their dreams in the shape of a man. He is responsible for shaping dreams, or giving shape to the beings which inhabit dreams.

Morpheus, known from Ovid's Metamorphoses, plays no part in Greek mythology. His name means "he who forms, or molds" (from the Greek morphe), and is mentioned as the son of Hypnos, the god of sleep.

Morpheus ("he who forms, shapes, molds", from the Greek morphe) is the principal Greek god of dreams and sleep.

Morpheus has the ability to take any human's form and appear in dreams. His father is Hypnos the god of sleep. Pasithea is his mother, and Thanatos, the personification of death, is his uncle. The sons of Hypnos .. are rulers of dreams, and also include Phobetor (a.k.a. Icelus), and Phantasus.

...it is not about notes...or big and small letters w/ dots...
...they all serve a purpose...
...the sound enters the soul...
...it works as the ethereal monument
...is acts as a purificator and a channelizer of the divine power, hidden inside a fabric of eternity...
it is fragile as the wind...and yet powerfull as the greatest of the storms
...this project is all about the power of the real true magic...

Morpheus is spoken of in the Metamorphoses of Ovid. He sleeps on an ebony bed in a dimly-lit cave, surrounded by poppy flowers. Ovid suggests that Morpheus has a special talent for mimicking human form in dreams. According to Ovid, Morpheus concentrated on the human elements of dreams, his brothers Phobetor and Phantasos being responsible for animals and inanimate objects respectively.

Morpheus sends images of humans in dreams or visions, and is responsible for shaping dreams, or giving shape to the beings which inhabit dreams. Icelus assisted with those aspects of dreams that reflected reality. Phobetor made fearsome dreams (hence "phobia"). Phantasus produced tricky and unreal dreams (hence "fantasy", "phantasmagoria", etc.). Together these sons of Hypnos rule the realm of dreams. Morpheus also had special responsiblity for the dreams of kings and heroes. For these reasons Morpheus is often referred to as "Morpheus the Greek god of dreams" in superiority to his brothers.

Mizar - Interview

The Macedonian cult band Mizar, this days starts to imprint the "lines" of their new revolation. A revolation that shouldn't suppose the incidental collection of already published materials of the two legendary albums (Mizar and Свјат Dreams) to be promoted again, but the album revolation that would suppose a new breach within the frames of the existing music matrix through actualy new music achievements. The Project is named as A Birth of Mizar. Behind this project stands the band's whole team that existed before: the musicians that were supposed as "gone into the legend", and no one ever thought they will get together ever again, and the team of the label Litium Records. The word for those new moments of the Mizar story for us – has the frontman of this band: Goran Tanevski.

Q: What the project A Birth of Mizar actually presents? Does that mean just ordinary restoring of the band – or is there something more behind that?
A: Behind the abstinence from the Macedonian music scene in the last few years, we still knew and believe that Mizar left behind itself many undone and unfinished matters and issues. So, we decided to unite again our creative energies in the Star of Hope – Mizar, the phenomenon that left the unerasable imprints onto the Macedonian music scene.

Q: At that time, Mizar existed as one of the most avant-garde phenomena in our national music scene. Where you picture yourself now?

A: If we look at the things now, from this time distance, we cannot overlook the things from some different – and we belive from some more qualitative – perspective. From the present perspective, Mizar, at that time, affirmed some very avant-garde music expression through its music. And how much intuitive or aware we were at that time (we were about twenty years old then), we couldn't see how much our music will influence upon the further development of the Macedonian music sound, and even wider. Anyway, if you see some feature film in your 20's and then again in your 30's – the second time you'll certainly comprehend it much more inwhole and in its full menings.

Q: Can you overcome and upgrade once given concept of the rock'n'roll, Byzantine and traditional Macedonian folklore music mixture you've so successfully interlaced in the past?

A: Mizar wouldn't be what it is if there wasn't this mixture of so different personalities and personal afinities in the band. That was the actual "thing" that defined our band's music temperament. These things that many thought they're unmixable, and so incompatibile, we did mix and interlace in one creative music wholeness. As for example, we did manage to creatively introduce the folklore drums and zurlas into the po[pular rock-expression.
Today, many says that in the music universe – everything is already played and done. We don't believe in that.

Q: Will the re-publishing of the albums and the common sense mean just a new encounter with the audience or it will mean some new creative music announcements and some new materials?
A: We see the re-publishing is only as a confirmation of the permanent values that Mizar left behind. We don't think that any label can stand behind it. We consuder Litium Records as a music publishing house with the most high proffessional standards, and we believe that they will "hold" the responsibility they agreed to take with this Project. The re-published materials coincide with our renewed activity, and we think that it's normal first to approach the audience with this significant historic material.

Q: How certain is the idea of publishing a new studio-album, and when (approximately) will that happen?

A: The very idea for the new album was the actual turnpoint for enterprising the whole this Project, and for our come-back. We plan to finish this Project with the third album and to encircle the Mizar trilogy somewhere at the end of 2003.

Q: At the time, in the 80's and 90's, the Mizar project has more support from some outer media (as Slovenian Helidon Publishing House and some Slovenian media) than the Macedonian ones, and it was so absurd. How do you see this from today's aspect?

A: The desire of the self-informing within the music-audience resulted with the fact that the nedia here didn't have any influence upon the promoting and the success of Mizar.
As first, at our first concert in Skopje (March, 1987) we had 2.000 spectators – that was the most numbered music concert ever remembered in the Macedonian music history until then, and it was without any media support. This fact shows that Macedonian music audience knows what is what, and what it wants.
As second, and what concerns "the Slovenian connection", is the fact that Macedonia at that time didn't have any conditions or music producers that were able to stand behind that project, and at the same time to preserve the language we sing… Like with the "ajvar" they took from us, remember?

Q: Now, you start in Macedonia under very different circumstances; do you expect that, in this time we live in, the conscienceness for the innerself power and the authentic ethnic Mizar music-code will prevail?
A: Of course, today is very different situation. The support we have is much, much enlarged, and the media support is very important now. But, there is a slight danger (because of the incompetence of some), many things to turn into "ajvar"… It already has happened during our absence from the music scene – because of the incompetence of some "experts", many things that were only band's achievements, were falsely "adopted" and "appreciated" to some other people for some small and personal goals and interests.
Anyway, if we see at the things from some qualitative perspective, it is a large responsibility not only upon Mizar, but also upon the media. Because the media should competently and accurate inform the public, and Mizar should fulfill the given promise he intended.
That also means that, maybe, the whole story doesn't have to start from here.
We still could wait and see.
Mizar
is aware of its qualities and values, and for everything else – the time will show.

Dossier: MIZAR

Mizar is the band that in the 80's promoted the Macedonian culture in the frames not only of the former Yugoslavia, but even wider, in many countries of Europe. At the same time Mizar had the name as one of the most popular bands in the former Yugoslavia, based on its avant-garde sound image, and built not only upon the – until then – unseen mixture and interlacing of the rock'n'roll, ethnic and traditional folklore sound matrix, but also upon the texts given in Macedonian language: in that time and conditions, that was almost sacrilege.
The first album Mizar (as the band's name) is their first album in the popular (read: rock'n'roll) music ever recorded in Macedonian language. Although disputed by the regime at that time – with a censorship of their songs and banning of their video-clips, with the great support of their audience and fans – the band still manage to reach the top of all of the top-lists in former Yugolsavia.
Mizar
, by the way, terminologically is named by "the Star of Hope" – the Star that is believed has the power to unite the Christians and Muslims. The travellers during their journey through the desert, orientated their way by this Star – the Mizar.
The rise of this group leads to their first album – simply called Mizar. It happened in the studio "Tivoli" in Ljubljana, in the autumn 1987. The album appeared at the spring of the 1988. This album was selected as the Best Album in Yugoslavia for that year.
With the multimedia project "Macedonian Streljba", Mizar united the most of the creative young forces in Macedonia to express themselves through the art and all of its forms – as the theater, film, painting, music… "Macedonian Streljba" was a project that, in some way, open the gates of the new expression form not only in the former Yugoslavia cultural scene (with the later appearance of the Neue Slovenische Kunst), but even wider in Europe. The Project ended with official censorship and blackmailing and oppression upon the participators by the Police and other Intelligence Services of the former Yugoslavia. Most of the actual participators in that project, today are the renomated and well-known cultural personalities and authors in Macedonia and abroad.
The period from 1978-1989, for Mizar was a period of fully promoting its ideas, values and qualities in all fields of culture, participating in the music-forming of the theater, film and exhibions country-wide.
What concerns the music, Mizar fully dedicates uypon the culture of their roots and traditions. At the same time, they were ready for the second album.
Dreams
was the name of this music announcement. It was inspired by the idea for linkage the multiple cultural codes through the interlaced, but single music expression. That was confirmed by the remix (the remake) – as the cover-version – of the Eurythmics’ classic hit Sweet Dreams in a ambiental version with archaic way of the vocals, that translates, through the Byzantine manner of singing, up to an eruptive rock-explosion – symbolically expressing the element that now links all the people – and that element is – the music itself.
The album was officialy published in 1991, in the Eve of the Macedonian Independence and the Referendum, the first free elections in Macedonia, and in the eve of the war that threatened the former Yugoslavia at that time. Soon after that, Mizar quited its work.
All until today.
And in spite of their absence from the music scene, Mizar imprinted the deep traces onto the further development of the Macedonian music expression.

PARAFIN

PARAFIN, Belgrade, Serbia is non-profitable, non-government organization of young intellectuals, who are trying to bring some diversity in cultural life of their surrounding through their efforts and creativeness. We are facing a wide gap between cultural happenings organized for solely commerciality on one side, and well recognized academic life with its values and routine going on for decades, on the other. Everything else, being either not commercially attractive or not recognized by established cultural institutions is to be presented by pure chance only. Mere accident and not an organized attempt bring something different to Serbian cultural public. Needless to say, most of interesting new production falls into this area between commercial or academically proposed culture. There has to be an instance that would in organized manner promote this kind of artists and their works, and we see our organization as one of few with effort to do so. our contact is parafinorama@gmail.com

JOHANBEEN
Johanbeen was a alternative / noise project from Kragujevac. They've released the cassette album "Noise Improves / Do You Know I Could Die?". Their singer Kitanić committed suicide by throwing himself from a building. I think that they've been disbanded for long time.

Biography (Serbian):

Tokom *93. Johanbeen snima tri albuma "Sam u borbi protiv dosade, What seems to be trouble, gentleman i Chaossex in monkey division".Te godine se i ustaljuje postava od tri verna člana, tri Johanbeen-a (Kita, Krcko, Fritz). Johanbeen zauzima kurs od kojeg nema odstupanja. Slede godine zeza, svirki i Johanbeenovanja. Sve albume izdaju samostalno u produkciji Siphilis tapes-a.

GENTLE JUNK

GentleJunk co. NetLable is open for sound and sonic art oriented people, interested in sweet innovative creation, sound in its purest, experiment, innovation, improvisation, noise, drone… Most of the albums released are not strict in musical domain of melody and rhythm, but are more open to storytelling or psychedelic experience of pure and sometimes harsh sounds that reflect state of inner being.

Most of the artists released are from Croatian noise scene that is gathering all its strength to evolve and share works and experiences with other musicians.

‘A netlabel, also called online label, web label or MP3 label, distributes its music in digital audio formats (mainly MP3 or Ogg) online. Netlabels often work like traditional record labels to produce and promote music projects (such as albums or compilations). Most employ guerrilla marketing to promote their work. Few netlabels earn money for participants. The primary difference between netlabels and record labels is that netlabels emphasize free downloads, as opposed to physical publishing (CD, vinyl or DVD). Often, the music is released under licenses that encourage sharing, such as the Creative Commons Licenses. Artists typically retain the copyright.’

ZARKOFF

Started off in 2003. Collaborating with the Zagreb based label HomeMadeElectronica and French label Music4VIP. After years spent in the badly polluted industrial region of Sisak, he is moving to another location. The music he makes is obsessive, determined, and completely serious. And it is becoming more complex lately.
Apologies for the lack of personal info, but Zarkoff's goal is not to attract thoughts about his personal life or build an image of achievments.
He took part in Soba23 events based in Zagreb, and Elektro City events in Sisak, latter is still active.

Black Sheep Screaming

BLACK SHEEP SCREAMNIG

"Black Sheep Screaming" is an electro-industrial band from Omoljica - Serbia. The one and only member of this "one-man band" is Pal Dragan. Born on 15.08.1973 in Linz - Austria, he lived there 10 years, then moved with his parents to Yugoslavia. The turmoil of destructive and depressive powers caught him in it's whirl of continuous fight against the morbid and idiotic,fu**ed up reality,in an environment best described
as a madhouse or mental institution.Black Sheep Screaming is a project based on human life experience, philosophy of life, environment analyzis, psychology,in an abstract way.Not always with a negative prefix. But sure not with a positive.
Black Sheep Screaming is trying not to follow any patterns, patterns like "the world is in mess, everything is real bad,but we are
the mighty human race and we will work it out,you know, with love and understanding..."
Neither is it the "everything is black, eternal darkness, hell is rising, everyone's dead,i'll cut my throat with a rusty spoon and you follow my way Etc" story. And it isn't a "new" attitude somewhere in between or arround. It's just a way of abstract thinking of a person, put in position to judge, put there all by himself. What it really is ? It's all in there,in a way.. Consumers of Black Sheep Screaming music should work it out by themselves. The project "Black Sheep Screaming" exists from May 2001,but Pal Dragan is in electronic musicsince 1988,when he first began his experimenting with sounds. There were a few projects from 1989 {acidhouse),1992 {various electro-music),1998 - 2001 (ebm/industrial).Almost every recordings are lost, except the recordings in the period 1998-2001,thanks to digital data storing.BSS is still working to finish the first CD. In November 2001,the organisation called "LFO" has released it's own compilation of Yugoslav electro music, called "Lfo Sampler Vol 1".BSS had 2 tracks on this compilation, "Haste" and "Conclusion".LFO has sent this compilation to all major electro-music labels and magazines, and as they say,the reactions were fantastic. There were some self released promo CD-s in form of a demo album over the years. Now,in 2008,things again getting serious.. Some releases soon..

Claymore

kLEIMOR

kLEIMOR took its first breath in the fall of 2007 when Infra-red's singer and guitarist Sinisa felt he could give more than he had done with his mother band. "The project", as he called it at the beginning, combines sort of electro chilling sound with power distorted guitar, without being afraid to experiment with ways of music. From the Void to Sad Sad Departure, Message To Those Who Rule to Electro Shesheer, Papercuts, Nothing But Straight Emotions and others, kLEIMOR talks about love, hate, people and politics and sends clear message about life we all live. Claymore hates to talk about itself letting listeners to be judges and say the final words. Contact them at: bajich@gmail.com

story on Serbian:

Kao hit namece se plesna "Electro shesheer" (tko se sjeca Carter USM?) i odlican komad "She told me she was dying" u kombinaciji elektronskih pomagala, upecatljivog minimalistickog riffa i klavira. A mozda jednog dana i ponovno okupljanje Infra-Red. +++ izvor/source:www.terapija.net

SCH

SCH

"SCH, a group of Sarajevo alternative maniacs who had, infinitely and into infinity, dissipated more wild energy and artificial rebellion than one could fit into all the gothic underground cellars from Hamburg to London."
Miljenko Jergovic

"Europe saw in America the embodiment of her sub-cultural excesses, all the while mythologising them. One could similarily identify Bosnia with SCH, but that is regrettably not true, for you will not - nor will you ever - get to hear SCH played on the sound system of a 'Centrotrans' bus en route from Sarajevo to Tuzla."
Semezdin Mehmedinovic

SCH represents one of the most significant names in the field of alternative rock and objective music in the former Yugoslavia. Formed in the mid-eighties in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the band has enjoyed an intensive creative, recording and live existence, while maintaining its singular leftfield status. The band has played live all over the former Yugoslavia, as well as throughout Europe (Prague, Budapest, Geneva...) Additionally, SCH music and recordings has been used prominently in films and on radio and TV, as well as in the theatre.

SCH is
The most authentic
The most intensive
The most unusual
The most radical
The most serious
The most advanced
Themost alternative
The most refined
The most controversial
The most intricate
The most utopian
The most consistent
That is, certainly the most significant and best alternative band, phenomenon, project, concept, idea, and accomplishment in the history of Bosnia, and Sarajevo.

Arachnofobia Asylum

Arachnofobia Asylum

Arachnophobia is a specific phobia, an abnormal fear of spiders and sometimes other arachnids, such as scorpions and harvestmen. It is among the most common of all phobias. The reactions of arachnophobics often seem irrational to others (and sometimes to the sufferers themselves). People with arachnophobia tend to feel uneasy in any area they believe could harbor spiders or that has visible signs of their presence, such as webs. If they see a spider they may not enter the general vicinity until they have overcome the panic attack that is often associated with their phobia. They may feel humiliated if such episodes happen in the presence of peers or family members.

Instruments of Science and Technology

Instruments of Science and Technology

Deviations from coherence in the motion of atoms caused by thermal fluctuations and various mechanical, physical and chemical processes, produce excitation of the atoms and as a result, generation of acoustic waves takes place. Consequently, the corresponding excitation of inertons (inerton waves) accompanying the acoustic waves will appear as well. If the lifetime of a sound excitation that happens in any place of the Earth lasts only 1 sec., the corresponding inerton wave will be able to round the terrestrial globe about ten times. "Instruments Of Science And Technology"--the new experimental electronic effort by renowned physicist Dr. Richard Swift--demonstrates this theory. "The best way to relax... is to lie down, upon your bed, and stretch out" and let your body be vibrated to the exact frequency of the earth's rotation, while listening to "Instruments Of Science And Technology".

BOLJE DA NAS NEMA

Ideja o bendu se rodila dano. Jako davno. Josh davno davne tisu--u devetsto devedeset i neke.

Labosh

LABOSH
At the time when my Zagreb based demo band Spleen was about to split-up, I started to dj on Radio Student in Zagreb in 1997. The show was dubbed Have a Break delivering all sorts of Afro-American flavours. After a year I began to focus on electronic music, without chosing any particularly style. As a member of the Breakalicious crew and Egoboo.bits, for 7 years now, I appeared at the foreign stages: in Ljubljana (K4, Channell One), Graz (Springfour, Springfive), Zurich (Anorg fest) and Naples (Mediterranean Biennale) among others. In Croatia - Funky Breaks, Breakalicious, Kontrapunkt, Stereo Studio, >>FFWD, Synchro, Escape, Groodanje, Dot Frequency, Bass Invaders, Dirty Beatz, Illectric Funk, Moovare, Tatraplan, Valkana Beach, Seasplash ... I love to produce mix tapes, and some of them had been transmitted on Ninja Tune’s Solid Steel Show , Fine Time and Deep FM on Radio 101, and Radio Rijeka - www.prikljucak.hr. My latest dj selections came as the results of researching the ex-Yugoslavian musical heritage (Obscure YU grooves - funk, fusion and dancefloor jazz, YU elektronika and YU disco show). My nomination for the dj of the year on Zlatna Koogla 2005 was a flop. Within the Multimedia Institute mi2 in Zagreb I have co organized the first Creative Commons festival in the world "Sloboda Stvaralastvu" (Freedom to Creativity), dj Pytzek and I did the first dj workshop in Croatia (since 2001.), and for whose label Egoboo.bits I’ve produced 3 mix albums, and one of my own Method Of Dehumanisation. The album is consisting of vinyl end loops as a basis modulated with basic dj tools + fx. I’ve performed it in Naples, 2005. at the Mediterranean Biennale for young artists. A collaboration with two renowned underground figures from Zagreb followed, D.P.Pajo and Mario Kovac, resulting with an totally improvised live album. Live at MMCentar 2005. At Operacija grad 2: Jedinstvo with D.P.Pajo plus some other improvisers we recorded some new noises as Impromondays. Our performance can be downloaded here Thursday Live Operating 2007. At the end of 2007 we performed at 7th N.O. Jazz festival in SC. About my multimedia and performing arts collaborations you can get informed by entering forhcoming links Montazstroj - Kazaliste vase i nase mladosti while I’m finishing my new album "Porod Od Tmine"

Khand

KHAND

Khand is a experimental solo project which gathers & combines raw distorted sounds with slow melodies, ambiental layers and percussions.
The songs are actually groups of layers made by only bass guitar on different effects (and some clean guitars and percussions), most of these are played and recorded instinctively and with no previous practicing or jamming...just pure feeling and groove...

Inspirations in music include notable drone, noise, progressive and industrial metal bands.
But apart from music the inspiration is based on psychology, mythology, fantasy (like Tolkien's world of Khand and Harad), mysticism of religions, principles of sacred geometry, and the eternal conflict of chaos and order/good and evil.

A good way of describing one's faith of the divine force is in the Sikh symbol of Khanda, which is quite similar to the Om symbol in its meaning. The Sikh four pillars of faith, strongly resembling the four elements of nature: wind, fire, water and earth.

Kunstterrorist

VISUAL:
Kunstterrorist Organisation is first and foremost an experiment in human nature. What started out as a few street and design artists scamming welfare make-work arts back in 2004 has become a complete zenarchistic art organisation of postmodern art terrorist ideals (also known as "El terrorismo postmoderno").

Kunstterrorist Organisation revolves around the idea that art terrorism is defined as the substitute application or medium for violence or threatened state intended to sow panic in a society. Instead or terror, art terrorism or postmodern art terrorism is intended to express the terror on more fashionable and contemporary way, via art. We all know that art will never stop the war and global warming but it will, most certainly, fill certain portions in your brain disks.

Kunstterrorist Organisation depicts works of radical political art activism and avant garde manipulation of the art hype itself.

AUDIO:
Kunstterrorist will release their first EP symbolically called "War Audio Noise" in mid 2008. First date was set to be in late 2006 but there simply wasn't enough time to finish all the tracks. Among seven tracks on the release, there will be some very interesting collaborations with other musicians. EP will also be available for free download at the official site (along with some special gifts), only for a limited time. With the release of EP, Kunstterrorirst Audio Noise will also be doing some live performances.

Along with the release of the EP, there will be some special tracks that will be available for free download at the official Kunstterrorist web site, those special tracks will include a number of distinctive remixed tracks of other artists and some demo tracks that didn't get their way into the "War Audio Noise EP".

Until the initial EP release, Kunstterrorist hopes you'll enjoy the tracks provided here for your listening pleasure.

Kunstterrorist Audio Noize is signed to DEATH TO MUSIC PRODUCTIONS independent anti-music industry record label.
